Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival Day

Upon landing at Zanzibar’s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our friendly driver for your private transfer to your beachside hotel. Once you’ve checked in, the rest of the evening is yours to relax and unwind at your own pace. Enjoy a delicious dinner served at your hotel as you settle into the tranquil rhythm of island life.

Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before meeting our knowledgeable local guide for a journey through the rich history and culture of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Over the centuries, various cultures have left their mark on Zanzibar, and nowhere is this blend more evident than in Stone Town. Your guided tour begins at the vibrant local market, alive with colors, exotic aromas, and the lively chatter of locals bartering for fresh produce and spices.

Next, step into the tranquility of the 19th-century cathedral, built on the former site of the slave market, a poignant reminder of the island’s complex past and the abolition of slavery in 1873.

As you weave through the narrow alleyways, you’ll pass traditional Arab houses, their courtyards tucked behind ornate, carved doors. Notice the contrast with Indian-inspired homes, featuring elegant balconies and decorative ironwork. Among the architectural highlights, you’ll explore landmarks like the iconic Tip Tip House, the Old Fort, and the People’s Palace Museum.

For lunch, enjoy a delightful meal at the Silk Route rooftop restaurant. Offering sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, this charming Indian eatery serves flavorful cuisine — the perfect spot to relax with a cocktail in hand.

Following the tour, we’ll transfer you to your selected beach hotel, where you can enjoy dinner and unwind at your leisure, surrounded by the serenity of the coast.
